Vertikit help people to build their own farm with vertical farming technology to create a more resilient food system. 

 

As the climate crisis continues food insecurity will continue to increase. Vertikit are helping to tackle food insecurity in Wales through automate vertical growing systems that contribute to business diversification and increase local growing capacity. Their new product, VertiCUBE, is a robust, fully automated vertical farming system. 

 

VertiCUBE will be an easily deployable system at a price-point accessible to the average farm business or new grower. Through allowing farmers to adopt protected horticultural methods Vertikit are enabling farmers to enhance their business efficiency and increase Welsh food security. Having secured funding through the Mid Wales Challenge-Led Launchpad Vertikit are working to develop the prototype of VertiCube at a price-point that will disrupt the current UK markets.
