About Innovation Strategy

We are award-winning innovation specialists that help Wales’ most innovative businesses and organisations with research and development of innovative solutions to achieve fairer, greener, and inclusive growth. We work with public, private, and academic organisations on research, and innovation projects to create new market opportunities, deliver impact, and tackle societal issues leading to economic growth. We deliver unique expertise and resources to accelerate the development of innovative businesses across several sectors, including the food and drink, biotechnology, agri-tech, circular economy, and life science sectors.

Key activities of the role include: 

​

• Identifying businesses to work with throughout Wales 

• 1:1 coaching 

• Running and/or presenting at facilitated workshops for groups of businesses 

• Working with associates to build networks among business owners and key introducers

• Occasional travel.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

​

This is predominantly a mentoring and coaching role. You will need strong skills in coaching and mentoring disciplines, questioning, and active listening. Solid business development and presentation skills will also be advantageous. You will also need a firm working knowledge of commercial activity in Wales.

Experience & Requirments:

• Proactive, Creative, Motivated. 

• Business coaching: 1 year (Required)

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.

• Able to travel occasionally

• Must be based in Wales (United Kingdom)
